In Disastrous Waters: Environmental Knowledge and Technologies of Floods, Toxic Drinking Water, and Other Muddy Disasters in North Bihar, India

North Bihar has been experiencing worsening floods for several decades now. What can we learn from those who have been facing the conditions of climate change before the others? 

This project examines how people in North Bihar know and adapt to floods, stagnant waters, and toxic drinking water; and specifically asks under which conditions are people better equipped to adapt to such disasters.
